The metamorphosis began with a critical look at their existing fleet, which read like an overstuffed brochure, drowning in wordiness and devoid of eye-catching appeal. Our visionary branding design team embarked on a mission to distil their core offering into a single, powerful graphic. We introduced a fusion of creative typography, boldly spelling out “CUT GRIND SCAN,” superimposed on an exposed aggregate concrete background, artfully encased within a diamond-shaped tile that harmoniously mirrors the new logo’s icon shape. This aggregate background, meticulously vector-drawn, ensures seamless vinyl-cutting by their chosen signwriting supplier. Now, these revamped vehicles not only signify Contract Flooring’s commitment to excellence but also make appearances on race tracks across New Zealand and Australia as a financial supporter of various motor racing outfits, elevating their brand to the fast lane of visibility and impact.

Director Carlos Hedge draws inspiration from the unassuming coffee mug, recognising its potential as a canvas for brand expression. The bold colours and commanding lines of the new logo design render it a striking feature for corporate gifting. Carlos envisions these distinctive mugs as thoughtful year-end tokens, outshining the ordinary pens and notepads that often make the rounds.
