Premier Building Products is a global products sourcing specialist for the building industry. Their distribution partners are among the biggest construction sector wholesalers and retailers in New Zealand. The web design team at Hart Design has built a clean, minimalist brochure website to profile the company.
WordPress Web Designers
The website is designed to provide a simple snapshot of the product range that Premier Building Products imports. The website also serves as a repository for technical datasheets, installation guides, certifications and other important product information.
WordPress is our web design platform of choice. Our creative web design team can build a custom website design to match your tastes and preferences. For Premier Building Products, the brief was to maintain a clean, minimal design and lean heavily into their black and red branding. Our web designers have chosen a full-height page layout for the opening section of each page, containing a brief snippet that communicates key information to viewers.
Website Photography
This brochure website design is elevated by the hero imagery used on each page. Our designers have used a combination of our on-location photography with a selection of creative stock photos to add real-world context to each page. Our photography team is a wonderful resource for those businesses who want their website to reflect what they’re about truly. For Premier Building Products, we met with a construction crew that buys their building products from one of the company’s distributors. We captured still photography of labourers using Premier Building Products’ polythene film at an Auckland building site.
On-location photography showcasing a company’s product in action adds authenticity and relatability, connecting customers emotionally to the brand. It provides a tangible and real-world perspective, highlighting the product’s benefits and practicality instilling confidence in potential buyers.
To meet Premier Building Products’ brief, our web designers darkened the images right back, allowing only a hint of colour to add a little depth to the images. This has allowed the white text to stand out over the top of the imagery clearly and the site to adhere to the desired minimalist theme. The images retain sufficient contrast so that the subject matter is clearly discernible.
